ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Separate SEALED BIDS for:
Mollohan Center
Retaining Wall and
Concrete Patio
will be received by the Wetzel County
Commission, 251 Main
Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155, at the above address until:
9:30 AM, Local Time Wednesday, March 5th, 2025
And at that time and place will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The Work includes
excavation of existing site for complete installation of new retaining wall and concrete patio at rear
(East side) of existing
Mollohan Center building, located at 294 Mollohan Drive, New Martinsville, WV 26155. Tie-in new concrete patio to
existing HVAC equipment and generator concrete pads.
The BID DOCUMENTS are on file at the above address.
Bid Documents may be
obtained for a cost of $50 from Swiss Valley
Associates, Inc,
42631 State Route 7, P.O. Box 39; Hannibal, OH 43931, (740) 483-2351.
Each Bid must be
accompanied by either a bid bond in an amount of 5% of the Bid amount or by certified check or cashier’s check in the amount of not less than 5% of the Bid amount. The successful bidder will be required to provide a performance and
payment bond for 100% of the contract price.
The Owner reserves the right to waive irregularities and to reject any and all bids. If bids are 10% over the estimated project cost, the Owner will have the option to be rebid the
project.
A Pre-Bid Meeting will be held at the Commissioner’s Office,
251 Main Street, New
Martinsville, WV 26155 on Thursday, February 13th, 2025 at 1:00 PM.
