Notice is hereby given that the Ohio County Commission of Ohio County (in compliance with Chapter 11, Article 3, and Section 24 of the West Virginia Code as amended) will sit as a Board of Review and Equalization for Ohio County. The purpose of this Board is to review and equalize property assessments. Hearings will take place in Room 215 of the City County Building, 1500 Chapline Street, Wheeling, WV on Friday, January 31, Monday, February 3, Wednesday, February 5, Friday, February 7, Monday, February 10, Tuesday, February 11, Friday, February 14, and Monday, February 17, 2025.
If you desire to have your assessment reviewed, please contact the Ohio County Assessor’s Office at 304-234-3626 to schedule an informal hearing. If you would like a formal hearing before the Board of Review and Equalization, you may obtain the proper paperwork by contacting the County Commission Office at 304-234-3626. Under no circumstances can hearings be scheduled beyond February 17, 2024.
