The City of Wheeling Recycling Department is accepting sealed bids for two (2) total new containers with the following specifications, or equivalent: two (2) PROR-1420 Pro-Roll off 14′ x 20yd open top roll-off containers, 5″ tubing rails, made to fit the Pro-Roll Off trailer, with the following minimum specifications: All containers must be standard rail (36″), single rear door, with a large cable hook on box front (no d-rings welded), 4″ nose rollers, and must be painted black with industrial paint, minimum 1 year warranty, and all standard safety equipment. The containers must currently be in stock. Bids must include the lead time, total cost of delivery and all applicable taxes and fees. Sealed bids can be mailed to The City of Wheeling City Manager’s Office located at 1500 Chapline Street Room 302, or emailed to [email protected] Bid submission should be labeled “Hauling Containers” on envelope or email subject. Completed bids must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday February 18, 2025 at the City Manager’s office, at which time and place bids will be opened. The accepted or winning bid price must remain valid until purchase is complete. No bidder may withdraw their proposal within 30 days after opening. The City of Wheeling reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity in any and all proposals, to reject any and all proposals, and to negotiate with the apparent qualified company to such an extent as may be necessary.
