NOTICE
Sealed bids will be accepted by The Ohio County Commission for two (2) Type I Ambulances built on a Ford F-450 Gasoline four- wheel drive chassis. This bid shall describe a commercial cab/chassis with a transferable modular body converted into a Type I, 4X4 ambulance configuration as defined in the FEDERAL SPECIFICATION FOR STAR-OF- LIFE AMBULANCE, KKK- A-1822F, dated August 1, 2007. Unless otherwise specified, this vehicle shall be manufactured in accordance with the ambulance design criteria of the National Highway Traffic Administration, U.S. Department of Transportation in Washington D.C.
Bid proposal shall include detailed CAD drawings of the interior and exterior of the vehicle. All bids shall meet all Federal and state requirements. To obtain a copy of detailed specifications, please contact Ohio County Emergency Manager Lou Vargo at 304-234-3756 or:

The ambulances must be delivered with 90 days of order.
Bids will be received until 3:00 pm, on Thursday, July 11, 2019 at the Ohio County Commission Office Room 215, City County Building, 1500 Chapline St., Wheeling, WV 26003 at which time they will be opened and read aloud. Please mark your sealed envelope “Ohio County Ambulance Bid”.
The Ohio County Commission reserves the right to waive any informality or irregularity, in any or all guaranty, to reject any or all bids and to negotiate with the apparent qualified low bidder to such extent as may be necessary.
No bidder may withdraw their bid within 60 days after closing time.
