CORRECTION
A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, June 3, 2025, in Council Chambers, Weirton City Building, 4:30PM. The purpose of this meeting is to review the following application(s):
a. Anthony Gurrera, of 124 South Bellview Drive, is requesting a Variance for a six (6) foot high privacy fence in his secondary front yard along East Bellview Drive (Tax Map W43C, Parcel 213). This is a corner lot requiring Board approval.
b. Kayla Hawkins is requesting a conditional use permit for the “Redevelopment of Closed Place of Worship” at 148 Marie Avenue (Tax Map W44E, Parcel 133). The applicant wishes to create a commercial space for a salon/day spa. The City of Weirton Unified Development Ordinance (UDO) Table 1, Permitted Land Use Table, requires Zoning Board approval and provides supplemental regulations under Article 10.26.
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by an agent, attorney, or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
