INTERIOR BUILD-OUT
Healthways, Inc. hereby invites qualified Bidders to submit lump sum proposals for the complete construction of the project entitled “Hancock County Opportunity Center”, to be located at 419 American Way, Weirton, WV 26062. Sealed proposals must be received at the offices of the Healthways, Inc. at 501 Colliers Way, Weirton, WV 26062 no later than 4:00 p.m. local time on August 16, 2019, at which time all bids will be opened publicly.

The Project involves the interior construction of an existing 5,000 SF shell building including general, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.

A pre- bid walk-thru of the project is scheduled for August 8, 2019 at 10:00 AM at site. Attendance is optional.

An electronic (pdf) copy of the Bid Documents is available to qualified bidders by contacting LBRA Architecture (304-723-5870) during business hours. Paper copies of the Bid Documents are available for a non-refundable $50 for each set. There will be an additional charge for priority overnight delivery based on the actual costs.
A ten percent (10{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}) Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check must accompany all Bids. Bids may not be modified or withdrawn for a period of 60 days following the opening of Bids without forfeiture of the Bid security, not as a penalty but as liquidated damages.

Bidders shall themselves comply (and ensure compliance by their subcontractors, sub – subcontractors, suppliers, and consultants) with the Copeland “Anti-Kickback” Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Standards Act, “Equal Opportunity” Executive Orders 11246 and 11375 and 41 CFR 60-1.4, the Drug Free Workplace Act of 1988.

The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein. Any Contractor submitting a bid on this project hereby certifies and acknowledges that they hold a current WV Contractor’s license on the date of the bid opening and they meet all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State of West Virginia and the subdivision in which the work is to be performed. The successful bidder shall be required to furnish both a Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the full amount of 100{4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c} of the contract price.
All work must be completed with 60 calendar days following the start of construction.
