NOTICE
Rover – Iron Bank Meter Downsize Project
On May 23, 2025, Rover Pipeline LLC (Rover) filed a certificate application with the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) for authorization to construct, own, and operate facilities on Rover’s pipeline, the Rover – Iron Bank Meter Downsize Project, in Marshall County, WV (Interconnection Project). FERC is the lead federal agency that will approve the Interconnection Project. The FERC issued the Interconnection Project Docket No. CP25-500-000. Rover has requested that FERC issue an order approving this project by September 1, 2025.
About the Interconnection Project
The Interconnection Project will consist of the removal of the existing 4-inch ultrasonic meter and its replacement with a 4-inch orifice meter. The existing 4-inch ultrasonic meter is unable to accurately measure the minimum volumes that flow at the Iron Bank Meter Station. The new 4-inch orifice meter will be able to accurately measure those low flow rates. All work will be inside the fence line of the existing Iron Bank Meter Station located on Rover’s Majorsville Lateral. Rover has acquired all easements and workspaces for this project. The project does not require any ground disturbance.
