SERVICES FOR THE CRISPIN CENTER AND OGLEBAY PARK
BASELINE
NOMINATION
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the WHEELING PARK COMMISSION, hereinafter referred to as the OWNER, will be accepting proposals until 12:00 Noon on July 18, 2025, from qualified historic preservation consultants or architectural historians to provide professional services related to the preparation and submission of a National Register of Historic Places (NRHP) nomination for the Crispin Center at Oglebay Park Resort, as well as the development of a baseline nomination framework for the entire Oglebay Park property.
This project is funded in part by a Survey and Planning Grant from the West Virginia Department of Arts, Culture and History – State Historic Preservation Office (WV SHPO) and the National Park Service.
Proposals should demonstrate the consultant’s qualifications under 36 CFR 61, experience with NRHP nominations, understanding of preservation planning, and ability to meet a firm project completion date of May 1, 2026.
All proposals must be received by the OWNER no later than 12:00 Noon on Friday, July 18, 2025, and addressed as follows:
