A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, 2025, in Council Chambers, Weirton City Building, 4:30PM. The purpose of this meeting is to review the following application(s):
a. Precoat Metals is requesting a Variance to install a 40′ wide by 30′ high water tank within the front yard setback at 4502 Freedom Way (Tax Map W2R, Parcel 68) to facilitate a paint vault expansion project.
b. Dan Guida, of 324 Sunrise Drive, is requesting a Variance to increase the height of his privacy fence from six (6) feet to eight (8) feet in his secondary front yard along Vista Drive (Tax Map W4, Parcel 68). This is a corner lot requiring Board approval.
c. Trumco Forest Products, on behalf of Barone Realty Co., is requesting Conditional Use approval for a selective timbering project on approximately 37 acres between Marland Heights and Freedom Way (Tax Map W2K, Parcel 163 and W2L, Parcel 302). Timbering activities in all zoning districts require Zoning Board approval.
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by an agent, attorney, or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
