NOTICE
The object of the above-captioned action is custody of a child and possible termination of parental rights.
Notice is hereby given that an Adjudicatory Hearing, and if appropriate, Disposition Hearing, will be held before The Honorable Joseph E. Barki, Judge, in his Chambers located in the Hancock County Courthouse, 102 Court Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia, on August 26, 2025, at 12:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. The purpose of the hearing is to determine whether the parental/custodial/guardianship rights of the Respondent, Jeffrey Truax, guardian of and Respondent, Kelly Truax, caregiver of a child born October 15, 2007 should be terminated.
Notice is hereby further given to Respondent, Jeffrey Truax and Respondent, Kelly Truax, of their respective right to counsel at every stage of the proceeding and that such proceeding can result in the permanent termination of their respective parental/custodial/guar- dianship rights.
Notice is hereby further given to Respondent, Jeffrey Truax and Respondent, Kelly Truax,, that a copy of the petition and possible termination of parental/custodial/guar- dianship rights can be obtained from the Hancock County Circuit Clerk at the Clerk’s office located in the Hancock County Courthouse, 102 Court Street, New Cumberland, West Virginia.
