NOTICE OF CHANGE IN CONTROL
OF A BANK HOLDING COMPANY
Julie Harris, of Newport, Ohio, individually and as
Trustee of the Hometown Bancshares Inc. 401(k) Profit
Sharing Plan (the “ESOP”), intends to apply to the
Federal Reserve Board for permission to join the ESOP,
Middlebourne, West Virginia and Tammy Waggoner,
Trustee, New Martinsville, West Virginia, a previously
approved group acting in concert, to retain 10% or
more of the shares and thereby control of Hometown
Bancshares, Inc., Middlebourne, West Virginia
(“Hometown”).
Hometown controls Union Bank, Inc., Middlebourne,
West Virginia. The Federal Reserve considers a number
of factors in deciding whether to approve the notice.
You are invited to submit comments in writing on this
notice to the Federal Reserve Bank of Cleveland, 1455
East Sixth Street, Cleveland, OH 44114, or via e-mail:
[email protected] . The comment
period will not end before August 19, 2025 and may be
somewhat longer.
