INVITATION TO BID RE-ROOFING OF CIVIC CENTER ARENA AND CITY HALL ROOF CITY OF KINGWOOD LOCATION OF STRUCTURE TO BE RE-ROOFED: 311 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood, WV 26537. The City of Kingwood, Parks and Recreation, West Virginia will receive sealed bids for the re-roofing of the Civic Center Arena and City Hall Roof until August 21, 2025 at 4:00p.m. Bids will be publicly opened and read on August 26, 2025 at 6:30 p.m.in the Council Chambers of the Kingwood City Office, 313 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood, WV. Bids should be submitted in sealed envelopes plainly marked “RE-ROOFING OF CIVIC CENTER ARENA AND CITY HALL ROOF, 311 TUNNELTON STREET, CITY OF KINGWOOD.” Bids are being solicited only from responsible and established bidders known to be experienced and regularly engaged in the work of roofing commercial buildings. Satisfactory evidence that the bidder has the necessary capital, equipment and personnel to do the work may be required. Specification Forms are on file for the inspection of the bidders at the office of Kingwood Parks and Recreation at 311 Tunnelton Street, Kingwood and copies may be obtained by qualified bidders. The City Council reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any bid, or portion hereof, which, in their opinion, is most advantageous to the City.
