IN THE MATTER OF OHIO COUNTY CASE #25-JA-48 KAYLA LONG, biological mother of infant J.B., whose date of birth is January 1, 2010, and JOSHUA BURDETT, biological father of infant J.B., whose date of birth is January 1, 2010, natural child of Kayla Long.
The Petitioner, the West Virginia Department of Human Services, has filed a petition alleging that JOSHUA BURDETT has abused and neglected, abandoned, or failed to provide for the care, custody and control of infant J.B., whose date of birth is January 1, 2010.. JOSHUA BURDETT is ORDERED to appear in the courtroom of the Honorable Michael j. Olejasz, Judge of the Circuit Court of Ohio County, West Virginia, Fifth Floor, Ohio County Courthouse, Wheeling, WV on the 18th day of September, 2025 at 11:45 a.m. for an Adjudication Hearing if he so desires to object or make other defenses to the Petition; otherwise, JOSHUA BURDETT, biological father of infant J.B., whose date of birth is January 1, 2010, may be adjudicated an abusive and neglectful parent.
