AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Paul Wissmach Glass Company
has applied to the West Virginia Department of
Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a
Voluntary Modification Permit which modifies the
grandfathered regulatory status of four of its batch
glass production furnaces by imposing emission limits
on discharges from these furnaces when their air
pollution control device baghouse is in operation. The
furnaces are located on 420 Stephens St., Paden City,
in Weztel County, West Virginia. The latitude and
longitude coordinates are: 39.6075 latitude and
-80.934167 longitude.
The applicant is requesting permit limitations of the
following Air Pollutants discharged from these four
furnaces when the baghouse is in operation: This
application seeks the following emission limits for
particulate matter (PM) and for the metal HAPs
arsenic, cadmium, chromium, lead, manganese, and
nickel from the baghouse when it is in operation:
The average production based PM mass emission rate
must not exceed 0.2 lb/ton of glass produced; or the
average production based metal HAP mas emission
rate must not exceed 0.02 lb/ton of glass production.
Written comments will be received by the West Virginia
Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air
Quality, 601 57 th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304,
for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication
of this notice. Written comments will also be received
