WHEELING HOUSING AUTHORITY, WHEELING, WEST VIRGINIA will receive sealed bids for it’s FY2018 CAPITAL FUND PROGRAM – BALCONY REPAIRS until 10:00 AM EST on the 30th day of October, 2019, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud. The work consists of the repairs to existing balconies, concrete repairs, pressure washing, etc and all related work for a complete system. Contractors must have 5 years minimum experience.

Copies of the Bid Documents may be obtained and questions and comments resolved at the office of the Architect, ADKINS DESIGN, Inc. 1522 Clearview Heights, Charleston, WV 25312 (304) 984-2415, upon payment of a $50.00 non-refundable deposit. Each bidder is required to purchase one set of bid documents to insure that they possess the most current and complete set of drawings and Project Manual. Bidder may also examine bid documents at the following locations:

A Prebid Conference will be held at 10:00 AM on EST the 16th day of October, 2019 at the Project Site located at Riverview Towers, 601 Main Street, Wheeling, WV. The scope and details of the proposed work will be covered. Attendance is mandatory. Site visitation is mandatory and will be conducted immediately after the prebid meeting.
Wheeling Housing reserves the right to reject any or all bids or to waive any informalities in the bidding process. A certified check or bank draft, payable to Wheeling Housing Authority Par Value U. S. Government bonds or a satisfactory bid bond executed by the acceptable sureties in an amount equal to five percent of the bid shall be submitted with each bid.
