NOTICE OF PROPOSED CONVEYANCE OF UNITED METHODIST CHURCH PROPERTY (Berlin United Methodist Church) Notice is hereby given that the Board of Trustees of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church will, on or after November 19, 2025 QUITCLAIM, GRANT and CONVEY to Trustees of Berlin Church, all of their rights, titles and interests in and to the Petroleum Oil and Natural Gas within, on and under three tracts of real estate situate in Hackers Creek District, Lewis County, West Virginia, to-wit: ALL OF THE UNDIVIDED INTERESTS set forth or referred to in that Deed dated November 7, 1990 from Anna Ruth Snyder and Edward G. Snyder, her husband, and Norman Jean Stoneking and James W. Stoneking, her husband, to the Trustees of the Berlin United Methodist Church and recorded in the Office of the Clerk of the County Commission of Lewis County, West Virgina in Deed Book 483, at Page 95, and subject to those Leases and other matters set forth in the aforesaid Deed dated November 7, 1990, and is further subject to all reservations, exceptions, easements, leases and conditions heretofore made or reserved in all prior Deeds conveying the granted premises, or any part thereof, except those pertaining to race, color or creed. Said Berlin United Methodist Church was declared closed effective on August 31, 2024 by a majority of the District Superintendents of the West Virginia Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church.
