The Wheeling Park Commission is requesting qualifications from architectural and engineering firms to provide all design, construction documents, bid negotiation and construction administration services for:

The Wilson Lodge
Original Wing
Renovations and Addition
465 Lodge Drive
Wheeling, WV 26003

The Original Wing is two stories and has fifty-five rooms built in 1956 (approximately). The objective of the project is to increase the size of the rooms within the two stories and, as an option, consider a third level addition to not only improve the size and configuration, but to increase the lodging room count within the wing to sixty seven. The project includes other amenities such as a new elevator, a new mid-building entry and stair, vending, wifi, guest laundry, new MEP & FP and connections to other parts of Wilson Lodge not currently accessible from the Original Wing.

Your submission should include the following information:
-Name, address and brief history of your firm.
-Resumes of the personnel who will be assigned to this project and their qualifications.
-Hotel, resort, lodge planning and design experience, listing a minimum of three projects the firm has performed, including a contact person and telephone number of each.
-Examples of project budgeting, cost estimating and results.
-Experience with scheduling projects, off site fabrication and other specific experience associated with hotel construction & renovation.

All questions must be submitted, via email, to Mr. Andrew Barger:
no later than 4:00 pm on Friday May 1, 2015.

Sealed RFQ will be received by Wheeling Park Commission at the following location until 4:00 pm on Friday May 8, 2015.

The RFQ will be reviewed and evaluated for the firm’s qualifications, ranking and a short list for those selected to be interviewed. A Pre-Interview meeting will be scheduled to tour the project site prior to interviews. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all RFQ and to waive irregularity in the process.
