ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Sealed Bids for the construction of the Water Line Relocation – Elk Fork Road (CR 11) project will be received by the Tyler County Public Service District at their office located at Route #2 North, Friendly, WV 26146 until 11:00a.m. local time on December 12, 2019, at which time the Bids received will be publicly opened and read.
The method of bidding will be as follows:
CONTRACT #1 – Water Line Relocation – Elk Fork Road (CR 11):
Unit price contract to construct approximately 210 LF of 6″ waterline, 30 feet of highway open cut, 30 feet of stream crossing, 2 tie-ins to existing mains, and other work required to provide a complete operating water system.
The Issuing Office for the Bidding Documents is: Cerrone Associates, Inc., 97 14th Street, Wheeling, WV 26003. Prospective Bidders may examine the Bidding Documents at the Issuing Office on Mondays through Fridays between the hours of 8:00AM – 5:00PM and may obtain copies of the Bidding Documents from the Issuing Office as described below.

The date that the Bidding Documents are transmitted by the Issuing Office will be considered the Bidder’s date of receipt of the Bidding Documents. Partial sets of Bidding Documents will not be available from the Issuing Office. Neither Owner nor Engineer will be responsible for full or partial sets of Bidding Documents, including Addenda if any, obtained from sources other than the Issuing Office.
A five percent ({4ceb532c6f579389df471c6c1e832caf2346b74dc60fcbf6aabd4d29df3baf9c}5) Bid Bond or certified cashier’s check must accompany all bids. The Owner reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids. No Bidder may withdraw his bid within 90 days after the actual date of the opening thereof.
