Unknown Father claiming parental rights to the
above-named
infant. The purpose of the above styled civil proceedings
is for the West Virginia Department of Human Services to obtain a judicial decree finding that you have abused, neglected and/or abandoned the child, M.L.G., born on October 29, 2025. Take notice that these proceedings may result in the permanent termination of your parental rights to the child. And it appearing by an Affidavit filed in this matter that Jenna McDiffitt is the mother of the child, that Keven Gill is the putative father of the child and that there may be an Unknown Father who has or
claims to have parental rights to the child.
You are hereby ORDERED to appear at a hearing
scheduled on the 7th day of January, 2026, at 12:00
o’clock p.m., in the courtroom located at the Wetzel
County Courthouse, 200 Main Street, New Martinsville,
West Virginia, to protect and defend your interests. If
you do not appear, an Order may be entered
permanently terminating your parental rights to the child,
M.L.G.
A copy of the Petition to Institute Child Abuse and
Neglect Proceedings and the Notice of Termination of
Parental Rights may be obtained at the Wetzel County
Circuit Clerk’s Office at 200 Main Street, New
Martinsville, West Virginia. In the event you are unable
to afford legal counsel to protect your interests, counsel will be appointed for you upon the completion of an
application available in the Clerk’s Office.
