REQUESTS FOR BIDS
SHORT CREEK AND BETTY ZANE VACUUM STATION IMPROVEMENTS
Sealed bids will be received by The Ohio County Development Authority at its office at 546 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, West Virginia 26059 until December 12, 2019 at 3:00 p.m. local time and said bids will be publicly opened and aloud for the following project: Short Creek and Betty Zane Vacuum Station Improvements. This Project includes replacement of all major components of two sewage vacuum stations and dry-well sewage pumping systems, HVAC equipment, doors, roofs, electrical generator sets and other station components as specified.

Copies of plans, specifications and proposal forms can be obtained from the Engineer, Vaughn, Coast & Vaughn, Inc., 154 South Marietta Street, St. Clairsville, Ohio 43950 (740) 695-7256, upon payment of a non-refundable deposit of twenty-five ($25.00) for electronic copy and two hundred dollars ($200.00) for each hard copy’
The above stated deposit is required before the documents can be made available. Bidders who submit a Bid must be a Plan Holder of record at the Engineer’s Office.
Bids are to be sealed and addressed to Ohio County Development Authority, 546 Cabela Drive, Triadelphia, Virginia 26059 and noted on the envelope as a Bid for Short Creek and Betty Zane Vacuum Station Improvements.
The Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids. The Authority reserves the right to defer, delay or postpone the date for receiving and opening proposals. The Authority reserves the right to negotiate with the lowest responsible Bidder if it is deemed to be in the best interest of the Project. The Authority further reserves the right to waive any informality in a Bid or reject such an informal bid if it is to their advantage to do so.
A pre-bid conference will be held at 1:00 p.m. local time on November 21, 2019 at the Ohio County Public Service District office at 5383 National Road, Triadelphia, WV 26059. At the conclusion of the meeting a tour will be conducted at the vacuum station sites. Attendance at the pre-bid conference is highly encouraged but not mandatory.
