INVITATION FOR BIDS
OPERATING BUDGET
FY 2020
The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling, West Virginia will receive sealed bids for a PREVENTIVE MAINTENANCE SERVICE CONTRACT FOR EIGHT (8) ELEVATORS located at (4) high-rise buildings. The bid opening will take place on, Friday, January 17th, at 1:30 p.m. at our Main Office located at 11 Community St. Wheeling, WV. All bids will be publicly opened and read aloud.
The elevators consist of the following: Four (4) hydraulic, and Four (4) Traction elevators. Interested bidders must be familiar with the requirements stated below: Elevator Company must reference to have performed maintenance on similar controls and motor operations, have accessibility in the Wheeling area. Must be able to provide financial and technical ability to render this service. The bidder must carry a State of West Virginia License, and all required insurances.
A Prebid Walk-thru will be held on Friday, January 10th, 2019, at 10:00 am starting at our Garden Park Terrace Property, 1208 Warwood Ave. Wheeling, WV. Attendance is mandatory. The successful bidder will be subject to a yearly inspection conducted by the West Virginia Dept. of Labor and shall be responsible for all findings resulting from the inspection.

A bid bond is not required.
The Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling reserves the right to reject any or all bids or can waive any informalities in the bidding. No bid shall be withdrawn for a period of sixty (60) days subsequent to the opening of bids without the consent of the Housing Authority of the City of Wheeling, West Virginia.
Bids must be clearly marked: Elevator Service Bid and can be dropped off or mailed by the deadline to the attention of: Joyce K.
