Notice is hereby given that LP MINERAL, LLC, 3748 Dents Run Blvd Suite A, Morgantown, WV 26501 has submitted an application with the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP), 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV, 26416-1600 for a Phase 1 release on Permit Number S200810 Increment Number 1 issued for 59.77 acres.
The permit is located in Paw Paw District of Marion County, 1.7 miles northwest of Rivesville (Nearest Post Office) on Paw Paw Creek of Monongahela River.
LP Mineral, LLC completed backfilling and regrading on 10/01/2025 and is requesting release of 60 percent of the reclamation performance bond currently in the amount of $79,200.00.
Written comments will be received at the DEP address above until February 27th, 2026, or thirty (30) days from date of final publication.
