Eastern Time on February 5, 2026 for the: Dan Evans Sanitary Sewer Extension Engineer’s Opinion of Probable Cost: $500,000 Completion Date – 180 days from Notice to Proceed Bids will be opened and read at 12:00 P.M. Eastern Time on February 6, 2026 at the Community Improvement Corporation of Gallia County office at 16 State Street, Gallipolis, OH 45641. This project is a sanitary sewer line extension that includes the construction of 1,897 LF of gravity sanitary sewer line, 2,072 LF of 2-inch force main, lift station, and road bores. Bids must be in accordance with specifications and on forms available for review at E.L. Robinson Engineering, 155 West Central Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101.and can be purchased and obtained at E.L. Robinson Engineering, 155 West Central Avenue, Ashland, Kentucky 41101 for a non-refundable cost of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) picked up or mailed. Make checks payable to E.L. Robinson Engineering. Each bidder is required to furnish with its proposal, a Bid Guaranty and Contract Bond in accordance with Section 153.54 of the Ohio Revised Code. Bid security furnished in Bond form, shall be issued by a Surety Company or corporation licensed in the State of Ohio to provide said surety. Each Proposal must contain the full name of the party or parties submitting the proposal and all persons interested therein. Each bidder must submit evidence of its experiences on projects of similar size and complexity. All contractors and subcontractors involved with the project will, to the extent practicable, use Ohio Products, materials, services, and labor in the implementation of their project. Additionally, contractor compliance with the equal employment opportunity requirements of Ohio Administrative Code Chapter 123, the Governor’s Executive Order of 1972, and Governor’s Executive Order 84-9 shall be required. Bidders must comply with the prevailing wage rates on Public Improvements in Gallia County, Ohio as determined by the Ohio Bureau of Employment Services, Wage and Hour Division.
