EAST VIEW PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT CASE NO. 25-0883-PWD-30B · STAFF RECOMMENDED RATES Effective for all service rendered on and after the date of the interim order APPLICABILITY. Applicable within the entire territory served. AVAILABILITY Available for general domestic, commercial, and Industrial water service. (I)(C) RATES (Customers with metered water supply) Service charge $ 13.29 per month per customer Usage charge $ 7.28 per 1,000 gallons per month (C) MINIMUM CHARGE. No bill will be rendered for less than $ 13,29 per month (N) The above minimum charge is subject to an additional $ 0.12 per 1,000 gallons of water used per month. DELAYED PAYMENT PENALTY The above schedule is not. On all accounts not paid in full when due, ten percent (10%) will be added to the net current amount unpaid. This delayed payment penalty is not interest and is to be collected only once for each bill where it is appropriate. RECONNECTION CHARGE – $25.00 To be charged whenever the supply of water is turned off for violations of rules, nonpayment of bills or fraudulent use of water. TAP FEE The following charges are to be made whenever the utility Installs a new tap to serve an applicant A tap fee of $200.00 will be charged to all customers who apply for service outalde of a certificate proceeding before the Commission for each new tap to the system. MAXIMUM SERVICE ELEVATION No service will be guaranteed to any customer located 2,470 feet above Mean Sea Level (I)(C) LEAK ADJUSTMENT $ 3.06 per 1,000 gallons is to be used when a bill reflects unusual consumption which can be attributed to eligible leakage on the customer’s side of the meter. This rate shall be applied to all such unusual consumption above 200% of the customer’s historical average usage. (N) indicates new (I) indicates Increase (C) indicates change SECURITY DEPOSIT Not to exceed two times the average monthly bill for the applicant’s specific customer class or fifty dollars ($50.00), whichever is greater. This fee may be changed by applicable statutory provisions. RETURNED CHECK CHARGE A service charge equal to the actual bank fee assessed to the District up to a maximum of $25.00 will be imposed upon any customer whose check for payment of charges is returned by their bank due to insufficient funds. (C) 9.33% CASH WORKING CAPITAL RESERVE INCREMENT. 9.33% of total billings at the Indicated rates is required to be recorded as a credit to Account 285 “Miscellaneous Operating Reserves, (Instead of revenue accounts). The utility shall apply that percentage to total monthly tariff collections and charge that amount to Account 127 “Other Special Funds” (Instead of cash), and deposit that amount into a separate distinct CWCR Bank Account.
