U.S. DEPARTMENT OF HOUSING AND URBAN DEVELOPMENT ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS

The Town of Hundred, Wetzel County, West Virginia will
receive sealed bids for furnishing all service, labor,
material and equipment necessary to demolish six (6)
vacant dilapidated structures in the Town of Hundred.
Bids will be received until 10 AM on the day of February
11, 2026 at Belomar Regional Council 105 Bridge Street
Plaza Wheeling, WV 26003.

The Information for Bidders, Form of Bid, Form of
Contract, Specifications and Forms of Bid Bond,
Performance and Payment Bonds and other Contract
Documents may be examined at the following:

Ohio Valley Construction Employers Council, 21 Armory
Drive, Wheeling, WV 26003 or Bel O Mar Regional
Council, 105 Bridge Street Plaza, Wheeling, WV 26003.

Copies may be obtained at the Office of the Bel O Mar
Regional Council, 105 Bridge Street Plaza, Wheeling,
WV 26003 upon payment of $20.00 (non-refundable) for
each set.

Each bidder must deposit with his/her bid, security in the
amount, form and subject to the conditions provided in
the Information for Bidders.

This CDBG-Small Cities Block Grant project is to be
financed in part by a grant from the United States
Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)
and the West Virginia Development Office.

Bidders must comply with the requirements for
Affirmative Action and Minority Business Enterprises
participation as described in the Federal Specifications
insert to the Contract Documents. Bidders must comply
with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the
Copeland Act, the Contract Work Hours and Safety Act,
Section 109, and E.O. 11246.

The Town of Hundred reserves the right to reject any or
all bids and to waive any formalities therein.

No Bidder may withdraw their bid for a period of ninety
(90) days after the time of the opening of the Bids.

This project must be completed by March 31, 2026 due
to Fish and Wildlife requirements for endangered bat
species in the area. There will be no mandatory pre-bid
meeting, but bidders are encouraged to view properties
for demolition, prior to submitting bid.

Any Contractor submitting a Bid on this project hereby
certifies, indicates and acknowledges that he/she has a
license and meets all the qualifications required by the
statutes of the State and subdivision in which the work
is to be performed.
