Bridgeport Police Officer Civil Service Testing Notice The Bridgeport Police Civil Service Commission is accepting applications for the position of Police Officer for the City of Bridgeport. To qualify for the examinations, applicants must be not less than eighteen years of age on the date application is submitted; shall have a minimum of a H.S. diploma or GED, must possess or be able to obtain a valid WV operator’s license and must agree to submit to a physical, psychological and any other such examinations or tests as may be required by the commission prior to appointment. Beginning annual salary without police certification is $53,880, with certification is $56,344.
