THE WETZEL COUNTY
COMMITTEE ON AGING
IS REQUESTING
PROPOSALS FOR THE
FINANCIAL AND
COMPLIANCE AUDITING
OF ITS ACCOUNTS.
Such proposals should
include estimated audit
hours and a dollar limit
above fraud or similar
extreme circumstances.
Proposals must be for a
3-year period starting with FY 25-26 which ends
September 30, 2026, and
cover the following
fiscal years ending
September 30, 2027, and
September 30, 2028.
Proposals must be
received in the WCCOA
New Martinsville office
located at 145 Paducah
Drive, New Martinsville,
WV 26155 no later than
April 1, 2026, at 4 p.m.
Auditors should be familiar
with and have a working
knowledge of General
Audit Principles
established by the U.S.
General Accounting
Offices “Guidelines for
Financial Audits of
Federal Assisted
Programs” and GASS
“General Accepted
Accounting Standards”. Auditors also will need to
be familiar with the US
Office of Management and
Budget’s Circular A-133
Audits of State, Local Governments and
Non-Profit Organizations.
This fee should also
include the preparation of
the 990 and all
fees inclusive of the audit.
