ORDINANCE AMENDMENT 2026-01 AN ORDINANCE
OF THE TOWN OF HUNDRED COUNCIL OF
HUNDRED, WEST VIRGINIA, AMENDING ARTICLE
153. – EMPLOYMENT PROVISIONS WHEREAS,
Officers and employees of the Town shall receive as
compensation for their services such salaries, wages
and other emoluments as may be provided in the annual
budget or other action, order, resolution or ordinance of Council.
Fees paid to Town officers and employees for
documents or services rendered in the performance of
official duty shall be paid over by them to the Town and
shall not be deemed to constitute compensation to them
personally WHEREAS, the Town of Hundred Council
seeks to amend current Ordinance Article 153;
Employment Provisions; Section 153.03: Compensation
of town officers and employees; WHEREAS, As
required by W. Va. Code, § 8-5-12, the following
salaries for elected officials shall be as follows: The
annual salary of the Mayor of the Town shall be
$6,000.00 and said officials shall also be entitled to
reimbursements for travel for Town- related activities,
not to exceed budgeted amounts. The annual salary of
the Recorder shall be $2,400.00. The annual salary of
each Councilperson shall be $120.00. NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE TOWN OF
HUNDRED COUNCIL OF HUNDRED, WEST
VIRGINIA, AS FOLLOWS: The annual salary of the
Mayor of the Town shall be $6,000.00 and said officials
shall also be entitled to reimbursements for travel for
Town-related activities, not to exceed budgeted
amounts. The annual salary of the Recorder shall be
$2,400.00. The annual salary of each Councilperson
