LEGAL NOTICE
The Hancock County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the construction of a two-bay garage at the Hancock County Health Department located at 850 N. Chester Street, New Cumberland, WV 26047.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on March 2, 2026, at 10:30 AM: at 850 N. Chester Street, New Cumberland, WV 26047. Attendance is required for all prospective bidders.
Sealed bids must be submitted no later than March 12, 2026, at 1:30 PM . Hand-delivered submissions must be received by the Hancock County Commission at the Hancock County Courthouse, 3rd Floor Commission Chambers, by March 12, 2026, at 1:30 PM . Bids submitted via FedEx or UPS must be delivered to the Hancock County Commission at 102 North Court Street, New Cumberland, WV 26047, and received by March 12, 2026, at 1:30 PM . All FedEx and UPS deliveries require signature confirmation upon receipt. At March 12, 2026, 2026, at 3:30 PM , bids will be publicly opened, but no bid will be selected until all bids are reviewed by the Hancock County Commission. Sealed bids should clearly be labeled as:

The Hancock County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept in whole or in part, to add or delete quantities, to rebid if needed, and to reject any bid which deviates from specifications, when in the best interest of Hancock County.
