NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING PUBLIC HEARING AND FINAL VOTE ON PROPOSED ORDINANCE NO. 2026-01 SETTING RATES, FEES, AND CHARGES FOR CLARKSBURG WATER BOARD BULK WATER CUSTOMERS AND SUMMIT PARK PUBLIC SERVICE DISTRICT CUSTOMERS Notice is hereby given that the Clarksburg Water Board, a municipal corporation located in Harrison County, West Virginia, will conduct a public hearing prior to taking a final vote on proposed Ordinance No. 2026-01, entitled “An Ordinance Setting Forth the Rates, Fees, and Charges for Service to Customers of the Waterworks System of the Clarksburg Water Board, Harrison County, West Virginia.” The primary purpose of this Ordinance is to maintain the existing rates for customers of the Summit Park Public Service District through June 30, 2026, after which time such rates will be adjusted to match the Clarksburg Water Board’s standard rates. The Ordinance further provides for an increase in the bulk water rate from $5.00 to $5.50 per one thousand gallons. The final vote on the proposed Ordinance will take place in the Board Room of the Clarksburg Water Board Water Treatment Plant Building, located at 1001 South Chestnut Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia, on Wednesday, March 11, 2026, at 3:00 P.M. (ET). All interested persons will be afforded the opportunity to appear and to be heard with respect to the proposed Ordinance at that time. Copies of the full text of the Ordinance are available for public inspection at the Clarksburg Water Board Business Office, 1001 South Chestnut Street, Clarksburg, West Virginia, between the hours of 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M. (ET), Monday through Friday, excluding holidays, and may also be accessed online at www.clarksburgwater.com. The Ordinance may be materially amended at the aforementioned meeting. If adopted, the rates, fees, and charges set forth in the Ordinance will become effective for services rendered on or after April 25, 2026, unless otherwise ordered by the Public Service Commission of West Virginia.
