AIR QUALITY PERMIT NOTICE
Notice of Application
Notice is given that Ergon – West Virginia, Inc. has applied to the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, for a G60-D (General Permit Registration) for a fire pump engine located at the Newell Refinery (9995 Ohio River Blvd ,Newell, Hancock County, West Virginia). The latitude and longitude coordinates are: (Latitude: 40.608375; Longitude: -80.630603).
The applicant estimates the potential to discharge the following Regulated Air Pollutants will be: NOx: 0.43 tpy; CO: 0.37 tpy; SO2: 0.13 tpy; TSP: 0.02; PM10: 0.02 tpy; PM2.5: 0.02 tpy; VOC: 0.43 tpy; Total HAP: 0.002 tpy; CO2e: 71 tpy.
Startup of operation is planned to begin on or about the 1st day of April, 2026. Written comments will be received by the West Virginia Department of Environmental Protection, Division of Air Quality, 601 57th Street, SE, Charleston, WV 25304, for at least 30 calendar days from the date of publication of this notice.
