OFFICE OF ABANDONED MINE LANDS AND RECLAMATION
WVDEP Office of Abandoned Mine Lands and Reclamation will hold three public meetings to discuss the proposed reclamation projects, which have as their objective the alleviation of health, safety and environmental problems created by coal mines abandoned prior to August 3, 1977. The following projects, referred to as the 2025 Planning List, listed with region and county locations, will be discussed at the public meetings:
