REQUEST FOR BIDS
The Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority is requesting bids for garage doors to be installed in the Recycling building located at 242 North Street, New Martinsville, WV 26155.
Current Building is 30′ x 80′ with 3 20′ x 10′ openings.
The following requirements are minimums to be included in the bid:
Three (3) 20′ x 10′ Energy Series with Intellicore Solid garage doors.
Size 20’2″ x 10’0′
Wind Code: WO
Jamb type : Wood
Design Stucco Embossed with Micro Groove or equivalent
Exterior Color: Commercial Tan
Construction: 1 3/4″R-Value 16.2, 27 Gauge Steel
Spring: Torsion (Std) 10,000 cycles
Track size: 2″ Reverse Angle
Mount Type: Reverse Angle
Track Radius: 15
Track Type: Standard
Lock: inside slide Lock
Door Seal: Sandstone
Three (3) Liftmasters Commercial Operator no less than 10′ rail.
Bids must include all materials, labor, taxes and/or applicable fees to complete the project.
Timeline:
Suggested project time and completion date. (60 days from the awarding of the contract, depending upon weather as agreed to by both parties).
Insurance Requirements:
Each bidder must provide proof of a valid West Virginia Contractor’s license and be willing to obtain a contractor’s license and all necessary permits from the City of New Martinsville.
Proof of insurance in the amount of $1,000,000 along with naming Wetzel County Solid Waste Authority as a named insured from claims set forth below which may arise of out of or result from the Contractor’s execution of the work, whether such execution be by himself or by any subcontractor or by anyone directly or indirectly employed, for whose acts they may be liable. Proof of West Virginia workers’ compensation and unemployment payments are up to date and proof of OSHA worker protection requirements. Federal and state tax payments are up to date.

To be considered, bids must be received by 4:00pm on 4/15/2026. Bids can be mailed to WCSWA, PO Box 61, New Martinsville, WV 26155, hand delivered to the office at 250 North Street, New Martinsville, WV or emailed to [email protected] .
Bids will be reviewed by the WCSWA at the 4/15/2026 regular meeting and the accepted bidder will be notified after verification of all requirements.
The WCSWA reserves the right to reject any and or all bids.
