BID REQUEST FOR PHILIPPI PUBLIC LIBRARY The Philippi Public Library is seeking bids from licensed contractors to replace our cement handicap ramp, steel basement doors, rails, and basement rails to comply with the architectural drawings and specifications on file at the library. The work must be completed on or before May 30, at the Philippi Public Library, 91 S. Main Street, Philippi, WV, including: 1) Inspect the property and pick a copy of the architectural drawings and other documents provided in order to make a bid. 2) Comply with all applicable laws, ordinances, rules, regulations, or standards of federal, state and local governments having authority or jurisdiction. 3) Remove and dispose of current handicap ramp, rails, basement doors, and rails to the basement. 4) Provide labor and materials as needed. 5) Obtain any and all permits, insurance, and, if necessary bonding, and provide library director with a copy. Bids will be accepted until 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, by hand delivery or mail. All work must be completed by Friday, May 30, 2026. Interested contractors may examine the site at 91 South Main Street, Philippi, West Virginia 26416 at any time during on Monday through Thursday from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. and on Friday and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. in order to prepare for the bid.
