LEGAL NOTICE
The Hancock County Commission is soliciting sealed bids for the Property, Casualty and Workers’ Compensation Coverage for the period July 1, 2026, through July 1, 2027.
A pre-bid meeting will be held on April 15, 2026, at 10:30 AM Third Floor Commission Office, 102 North Court Street, New Cumberland, WV 26047. Attendance is required for all prospective bidders.
Sealed bids must be submitted no later than May 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Hand-delivered submissions must be received by the Hancock County Commission at the Hancock County Courthouse, 3rd Floor Commission Chambers, by May 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM. Bids submitted via FedEx or UPS must be delivered to the Hancock County Commission at 102 North Court Street, New Cumberland, WV 26047, and received by May 14, 2026, at 1:30 PM. All FedEx and UPS deliveries require signature confirmation upon receipt. On May 14, 2026, at 3:30 PM, bids will be publicly opened, but no bid will be selected until all bids are reviewed by the Hancock County Commission. Sealed bids should clearly be labeled as:

The Hancock County Commission reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to accept in whole or in part, to add or delete quantities, to rebid if needed, and to reject any bid which deviates from specifications, when in the best interest of Hancock County.
