TOWN OF MONONGAH
Notice is hereby given that the Town Council of the Town of Monongah, a municipal corporation, has approved for further consideration a proposed ordinance, the principal object of which is the increase of water rates for customers of the water system operated by the Town of Monongah. The title of such ordinance is "An Ordinance To Amend the Code of the Town of Monongah, West Virginia With Regard to Water Service Rates". The Ordinance will be read and considered for final adoption at a Town Council meeting and public hearing to be held on April 27, 2026 at 5:30 pm at Town Hall, 430 Bridge Street, Monongah, WV 26554. The Ordinance proposes that increased rates go into effect for service rendered 45 days after adoption. Members of the public may appear and make statements regarding the proposed ordinance.
