CLASS II LEGAL ADVERTISEMENT PUBLIC NOTICE The Doddridge County Solid Waste Authority (DCSWA) will accept sealed bids for excavation and site-preparation work at the Recycling Drop-Off Facility located at 26 Armstrong Avenue, West Union, WV. The project area is approximately 152 feet by 186 feet. Work includes excavation, installation of Typar geotextile fabric, placement of a stone base layer, and installation of 1 1/2-inch crusher run. A mandatory site visit will be held on May 7, 2026 at 10:00 AM at the site listed above. Attendance is required for bid eligibility. Proposals received from any proposer who did not attend the mandatory meeting will be disqualified and will be returned to the sender unopened. There will be no change orders accepted on this bid. All bidders must provide a WV business license, a WV contractor’s license, proof of workers’ compensation, and proof of liability insurance. Bids must be delivered to DCSWA, 99 Court Street, Room 129, West Union, WV 26456, no later than May 19, 2026. Bids will be opened on May 20, 2026, at 10:00 AM in Room 121 at the Doddridge County Annex Building. DCSWA reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids.
