A Public Hearing for the Board of Zoning Appeals is scheduled for Tuesday, February 4, 2020 in Council Chambers, Weirton City Building, 12:00 Noon. The purpose of this meeting is to review the following applications:
a) Nick Cosenza is requesting a variance to expand a non- conforming use at his 1295 Cove Road property (Tax Map W43L, Parcel 18). The applicant wishes to add an extra garage.
b) Nick Cosenza is requesting a variance to place an accessory structure in the side yard at 1295 Cove Road property (Tax Map W43L, Parcel 18). Per the UDO Table 2 Development Standards Table, an accessory structure in an R1 district must be located behind the rear wall of the principal structure.
c) John Kirlangitis, of 243 Three Springs Drive, filed an administrative appeal regarding the placement of his second sign at 243 Three Springs Drive.
d) John Greco, of 3219 Main Street, filed an administrative appeal regarding the non-conforming use status at 3179 Main Street known as C. Kerstetter Ventures, LLC DBA Kitties Lounge.
Applicants must appear in person; all interested parties may appear in person or be represented by agent or attorneys or submit comments in writing giving reasons for either granting or denying this petition.
