TARIFF FORM NO. 12 PRE-ADOPTION NOTICE OF ORDINANCE INCREASING WATER RATES TOWN OF WEST MILFORD, WEST VIRGINIA Notice is hereby given that the Town of West Milford, West Virginia, a municipal corporation, will hold a hearing before the final vote on a proposed ordinance, the principal object of which is the enactment of increases to the water rates for customers of the water system of the Town. The title of such ordinance is “AN ORDINANCE AMENDING AND UPDATING WATER RATES FOR GENERAL, COMMERCIAL, INDUSTRIAL, AND RESALE SERVICE TO CUSTOMERS OF THE WATERWORKS SYSTEM OF THE TOWN OF WEST MILFORD.” The changes to the rates and charges being proposed, generally being a percentage increase of 40.40%, effective 45 days after passage/approval by the Public Service Commission, are as follows: RATE – (PER MONTH) Current Proposed Raise Rate/Raise Percentage Minimum $37.36 $52.45 40.40% First 2,000 gallons used per month $37.36 $52.45 40.40% All over 2,000 gallons used per month (per 1,000 gallons) $17.19 $24.13 40.40% Resale (per 1,000 gallons) $13.81 $19.39 40.40% MINIMUM CHARGE No bill will be rendered for less than $52.45 per month. The final vote on adoption of said proposed ordinance shall be held in the Town of West Milford, West Virginia, at the West Milford Community Center Liberty St, West Milford 26451, on May 19, 2026, at 7:00 o’clock P.M. Interested parties may appear and be heard at such time with respect to the passage of the proposed ordinance.
