Demolition of Bluewell,
Brushfork, and Ceres
Elementary Schools
The Mercer County Board of Education requests bids to provide all work, including but not limited to labor, material, equipment, supplies, and transportation for the demolition of Bluewell Elementary, Brushfork Elementary, and Ceres Elementary. The awarded vendor will be responsible for the demolition and disposal of the building and contents. A mandatory pre-bid meeting is scheduled for Thursday, May 14, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. beginning at the MCBOE Conference Room, 1403 Honaker Ave., Princeton, WV 24740, and continuing to each school, as needed. A current WV contractor's license and certificate of insurance are required. Other bid requirements are detailed in the bid package, and copies of the bid package will be distributed at the mandatory pre-bid meeting only. Bids will be opened and read aloud May 27, 2026 at 2:00 p.m. in the Conference Room, Mercer County Board of Education, 1403 Honaker Avenue, Princeton, WV 24740.
