PUBLIC NOTICE
The first reading of the following ordinance took place at a Regular Meeting of Weirton City Council on Monday, April 13, 2026. The second reading is scheduled to take place on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m., in the Weirton City Council Chambers, 200 Municipal Plaza, Weirton, West Virginia 26062, during the Regular Meeting of Council. Interested parties may appear and make public comment on the ordinance at the Regular City Council Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 7:00 p.m. Copies of the ordinance can be obtained by contacting the Weirton City Clerk’s Office at 304-797-8500 x1045. Ordinance No. 2275 to Amend the Traffic Control Map, Ordinance No. 214, to Install a Crosswalk on the Southbound Approach of Weir Avenue at its Intersection with South 11th Street, and Install Stop Bars at Each of the Three Stop Signs at the Intersection of South 11th Street and Weir Avenue.
