BID NOTICE
The City of Weirton will be soliciting bids from licensed lawn care providers to contract with the City of Weirton for grass cutting services at specified properties throughout the city. This work is performed as part of Code Enforcement efforts citywide.
The 2026 bid packet will include: Base Bid: Standard grass cutting and maintenance at designated properties Add On Alternate #1: Garbage and debris cleanup (priced as time and materials) Add On Alternate #2: General tree trimming services
Preference will be given to any bidder who provides pricing for all three services (Base Bid + Alternate #1 + Alternate #2).
Bid packets containing the current list of properties scheduled for enforcement may be picked up at the Inspections Department in the City Building, 200 Municipal Plaza, between 8:00 A.M. and 4:00 P.M., Monday through Friday.
Bids must be received by 12:00 noon on Thursday, April 30, 2026. Each bid must be accompanied by a copy of the lawn care company’s current City Business License, Workers’ Compensation coverage, and General Liability Insurance at the time of submission.
