The object of this action is to obtain an adoption of A.N.G. You are hereby notified that your parental rights to A.N.G. (DOB 01/16/2024), if any, may be terminated in this adoption proceeding, unless you appear and defend any such rights within 30 days of first publication of this Notice, by serving an answer including any related counterclaim or defense that you may have to the Petition for Adoption filed in this action upon attorney for Petitioner, Elizabeth B. Warnick, Esq., of Legal Aid of West Virginia, 165 Scott Ave, Suite 209, Morgantown, WV 26508.
If you fail to respond within 30 days’ time, you may not appear in or receive further notice of these proceedings. If you fail to answer said petition or appear at the hearing, be advised that judgment may be taken against you for the relief demanded in the petition. A copy of said petition may be obtained from the Clerk of the Circuit Court of Berkeley County, West Virginia.
You are further notified that a hearing will be held on June 22, 2026 at 3:30 p.m. in the Circuit Court of Berkeley County before Judge Steven Redding, Berkeley County Judicial Center, 380 West South Street, Martinsburg, WV 25401.
