PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE The Area Agency on Aging District 7, Inc. (AAA7), headquartered in Jackson, Ohio, and serving the counties of Adams, Brown, Gallia, Highland, Jackson, Lawrence, Pike, Ross, Scioto, and Vinton, will conduct a Public Hearing regarding its Four-Year Strategic Area Plan (2027 2030) for services for older adults. The Public Hearing will be held virtually on Wednesday, May 20, 2026. A link to access the hearing will be available on the AAA7 website at www.aaa7.org. AAA7 intends to submit a waiver request to the Ohio Department of Aging to directly provide OAA Title III-D Evidence-Based Wellness Programs using OAA Title III-D and State of Ohio Senior Community Services funds in its ten-county region from January 2027 through December 2030. This waiver request is being pursued due to a documented lack of providers interested in delivering these services, making it necessary for AAA7 to offer them directly using its own staff and resources. The Strategic Area Plan and waiver documents will be available for review on the AAA7 website at www.aaa7.org beginning 5/11/26.
