Notice is hereby given that MEADOWS STONE & PAVING, INC., PO BOX 10, GASSAWAY, WV 26624 has submitted an application for RENEWAL of Quarry Article 4 Permit Number Q200795 to the Department of Environmental Protection (DEP) 47 School Street, Suite 301, Philippi, WV 26416-1600 in order to remove Limestone by conducting quarry operations.
The operation is discharging into an unnamed tributary of Elkwater Fork of the Tygart Valley of Monongahela River and is located 3.7 miles, West of Valley Head in Mingo District of Randolph County, Longitude 80 degrees 4′ 44″ and Latitude 38 degrees 32′ 38″.
Written comments on the Article 4 Quarry Permit Renewal Application shall identify the applicant and application number and will be received by the Permit Supervisor at the DEP address above until May 31, 2026, or thirty (30) days from the date of publication. A copy of the application will be available for review in the DEP Regional Office located at the address above and is available at:
