Lewis County Schools Provides Meals to Children During the Summer of 2026 Lewis County Schools announces their sponsorship of the federally funded Summer Food Service Program. HOME DELIVERY is open to all Lewis County WV children, aged 18 years and under, who would like to participate. The meals will be mailed home weekly, starting on June 8th through August 14th. Online signup will begin on May 13, 2026, via county and school websites. Each weekly meal box will contain 7 individual Breakfasts and Lunches. Breakfast and Lunch Meals will also be available during Lewis County Summer School and Energy Express located at Robert L Bland Middle School, 358 Court Avenue, Weston, WV 26542 and Peterson Central Elementary School, 509 Berlin Road, Weston, WV 26452. According to Federal Regulations we are only allowed to provide one breakfast and one lunch daily. Students participating in LC Summer School and Energy Express will be provided with a breakfast and lunch meal daily at the school sites. Mailed meals may be activated once the students are no longer participating in summer programs Lewis County Summer School – June 15th-July 10th. Breakfast at 8:00am and Lunch 12:00pm Monday through Friday except for no school on June 19th or July 3rd. Energy Express- June 15th-July 24th Breakfast at 8:00am and Lunch at 12:00pm Monday through Friday except for no school on June 19th and July 3rd. Football Camp- August 3rd-7th Lunch only at 11:00am A nutritious meal is important for children to learn, play and remain active during the summer months.
