ADVERTISEMENT AND
EXPRESSION OF
INTEREST FOR
ARCHITECTURAL/ENGINEERING SERVICES
Pursuant to W.Va. Code Section 5G-1-3, The Randolph County Board of Education is requesting Statements of Qualifications (SOQs) from qualified firms to provide Architectural/ Engineering (A/E) design and construction administration services for a New Safe School Entrance and Classroom Enclosure at Elkins Middle School. This project is contingent upon funding approval through the West Virginia School Building Authority (SBA); if SBA funding is awarded, the project will proceed.
In addition, this SOQ will include an “open-end” agreement for a period of three (3) years for other A/E services needed throughout Randolph County.

at the Randolph County Board of Education Office to obtain a copy of the Statement of Qualification and submission requirements.
Statements of Qualification must be received no later than 2:00 p.m. local prevailing time on May 29, 2026, at the Administrative Office of Randolph County Schools, 40 Eleventh Street, Elkins, WV 26241. In accordance with the requirements of WV Code 5G-1-3, these statements will be evaluated, and the county will conduct discussions/interview with at least three firms which are deemed to be the most highly qualified to provide the services required. The Randolph County Board of Education reserves the right to reject any and/or all statements from interested firms and to make the award in any manner deemed to be in its best interest in accordance with WV Code 5G-1-3.
