ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
Town of Iaeger
McDowell County, West Virginia

Sealed bids will be received by the Town of Iaeger, McDowell County, West Virginia, at Iaeger Town Hall, 109 Circle Street, Iaeger, WV 24844, until June 8, 2026, at 6:00 P.M. EST, at which time and place all bids will be publicly opened and read aloud for the following project:

Outdoor Stage Area & Park Restoration (Fencing and Gravel Replacement)

Project Description:

The project consists of furnishing all labor, materials, equipment, and incidentals necessary to complete the restoration of the Town of Iaeger outdoor stage area and adjacent parking areas damaged by flood events. Work includes, but is not limited to:

Placement of approximately 55 cubic yards of #57 gravel in the stage area (84 ft x 70 ft x 3 in depth)
"Placement of approximately 16 cubic yards of #57 gravel in adjacent parking area (28 ft x 59 ft x 3 in depth)
Installation/replacement of 14 galvanized fence poles (7 ft height)
Installation of approximately 150 linear feet (750 sq ft) of 5 ft high chain link fence
Installation of approximately 150 linear feet of galvanized top rail fencing

All work shall be completed in accordance with the contract documents and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.

This project is funded in whole or in part by federal and state funds. Bidders must comply with all applicable federal requirements, including but not limited to:

Bid Requirements:

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope clearly marked: "Bid — Iaeger Stage Area & Park Restoration Project."

Each bid must include:
Completed bid form
Contractor license number (WV)
Proof of insurance
Required federal certifications

Award of Contract:

The Town of Iaeger reserves the right to reject any and all bids, to waive informalities, and to award the contract to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder.
