Sealed bids will be received by the Town of White Hall at the White Hall Public Safety Building, 118 Tygart Mall Loop, White Hall, WV 26554 until 4:00 p.m., local prevailing time, June 22, 2026. All sealed bids received will be publicly opened and read aloud at 6:05 p.m. local prevailing time, or as soon thereafter as may occur, for:
2026 ROAD REPAIR AND PAVING PROJECT
All interested parties please call (304) 367-1687 or email [email protected] to obtain bid packets as well as instructions for a mandatory pre-bid meeting. Pre-bid meeting will be held in person at 10:00 a.m., EDT, June 12, 2026 at the White Hall Public Safety Building.
The project includes the following work: Road repair and paving on Moran Circle. The Moran Circle work consists of existing pavement removal, and curb removal and replace as necessary, installation of 8" depth crusher run, installation of a 2" base course, tack coat, and 1-1/2" wear course, and traffic control throughout the project area. Add alternate road repair and paving on Ruby Drive. The Ruby Drive work consists of milling transition areas and worn areas, installation of a leveling course, tack coat, and 1-1/2" wearing course, and traffic control throughout the project area. The project has an expected duration of 30 calendar days.
Plans, specifications, and bid forms will be open to public inspection or may be secured at the White Hall Public Safety Building, 118 Tygart Mall Loop, White Hall, WV 26554, (304) 367-1687. Copies of the plans, specifications, bid forms, and contract documents may be obtained from the Town of White Hall by depositing a fee of $25 per set (non-refundable) payable to George E. Pigott & Associates, Inc.
A certified check or bank draft payable to the Town of White Hall, West Virginia, or a bid bond executed by the bidder with a surety company approved by the Town of White Hall, Marion County, West Virginia, in the amount equal to five per cent (5%) of the bid, shall be submitted with each bid, to guarantee the bidders entrance into a contract, if given the award. No bid bond shall be waived or returned because the bidder fails to or cannot comply with any requirements as set forth in the plans, specifications, contract documents, or any applicable statutes of the United States, the State of West Virginia, and any/or all local ordinances.
Any contractor submitting a bid for this project hereby certifies, indicates, and acknowledges that he has a license and meets all the qualifications required by the statutes of the State and the subdivisions in which the work is to be performed. The Town of White Hall reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to waive any informality therein.
