PUBLIC NOTICE
The town of Rupert will receive sealed bids for the following surplus vehicle until 3:00 PM, EST on Wednesday, May 21st, 2015.
1999 Chevrolet Truck, 2 door, white, extended cab, mileage: 157,315
The vehicle can be inspected at the Rupert Water Plant, 251 Cranberry Ave., Rupert, WV, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Questions regarding the vehicle can be directed to James Nichols, Mayor at (304) 392-5682.
Bids must be sent or submitted to the Town of Rupert, PO Drawer B, 528 Nicholas Street, Rupert, WV 25984 by the above date and time. All sealed bids must be marked on the outside of the envelope: “Sealed Truck Bid”. No bid may be withdrawn after the scheduled closing time for the receipt of bids for at last thirty (30) days.
All bids received will be publicly opened in the order in which they are received. The town of Rupert reserves the right to accept or reject any or all bids and to make award on the bid which in their opinion serves the best interest of the town of Rupert. The winning bid must be paid in full within seven (7) days of bid closing prior to release of vehicle title.
